Welcome Back

Annually, on the 1st Thursday of September at 5:30 pm, the San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators (SFABSE) hosts a Welcome Back gathering for new and returning African American / Black employees of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and retirees.  Celebrating those promoted to new positions and enjoying the festivities, at this occasion, we network, enjoy a live band, present prizes from local AA-owned businesses, and are served African American cuisine.
